Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using King & Co, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your profile details up to date. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse King & Co, including by attempting to disrupt the platform, access data you are not authorized to view, upload harmful content, or use the service in violation of applicable law. We may suspend or restrict access when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.

King & Co services

King & Co provides a platform and tools for church and standalone ministry public event discovery , Christian business listings, and related features. Features may change over time. Some capabilities require organization membership.

Donations and free modules

King & Co is free to use. Modules such as Events and Business Directory are free when enabled for your organisation, and approved organisations publish events and support business listings without charge. There is no paid tier, and no feature is unlocked by payment.

Donations are voluntary gifts to the platform that support running costs. A donation is not payment for features or entitlements, does not create a service-level commitment beyond these terms, and is never routed to a church or standalone ministry. Monthly giving can be cancelled at any time using the cancellation link on your Paystack receipt, or by emailing support@kingandco.org.za.

Business listings terms

Christian business listings on King & Co are not an endorsement of the services offered. Business Directory listings may be Church-affiliated or Independent.

For Church-affiliated listings, King & Co, the affiliated church, and their partners are not liable for services rendered by listed businesses.

For Independent listings (labelled Independent Christian business, with no church name), King & Co and their partners are not liable for services rendered. Independent listings do not assign liability to any church.

Viewing a business listing detail page requires Listing indemnity acknowledgement on that browser before you can interact with the business listing. You may leave without acknowledging; your choice is remembered only when you acknowledge.

Church and standalone ministry administration

When a Church or Standalone Ministry uses King & Co to manage administrative data — such as public events and/or approving Business Listings — that Church or Standalone Ministry is the Responsible Party for that processing. They determine the purposes and means of handling the data they collect and manage through the platform.

King & Co acts as Operator of the platform for that administrative action, providing the hosting and tools through which each Church or Standalone Ministry exercises its responsibilities. We process that data only on their behalf and in accordance with their instructions.

Termination

You may stop using King & Co at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the platform and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Disclaimers

King & Co is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, ongoing, or error-free operation of the platform.
