This page explains how King & Co uses cookies and similar technologies — including HTTP cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, and device secure storage — when you use our website or mobile app. Cookies and similar storage are used by Kinship Ministries trading as King & Co. Strictly necessary storage
Storage that is required for the platform to function. Strictly necessary storage does not require opt-in. It is distinct from optional Analytics storage.
Auth and session tokens
Type: localStorage / device secure storage (JWT tokens)
Purpose: Keeps you signed in across sessions without requiring your password on every visit.
Duration: Until sign-out or token expiry.
Donation checkout handoff
Type: sessionStorage
Purpose: Holds donation checkout context while you complete a donation, so the handoff to Paystack is accurate.
Duration: Tab session only — cleared when the tab is closed.
Product UI preferences
Type: localStorage
Purpose: Remembers your UI preference flags (such as theme or layout choices) so the interface matches your expectations on return visits.
Duration: Until cleared by you or the app.
Analytics storage
Optional first-party (and named third-party) storage used to count unique visitors, understand path interest (for example Events vs Business Directory), and measure member conversion. Analytics storage is not required to operate the product. We ask for Analytics consent via an opt-in banner before any analytics scripts or visitor IDs load. Your accept or reject choice is remembered for 12 months; we re-prompt when that period expires or after a material analytics / policy change.
Product analytics
Type: localStorage consent record plus PostHog Cloud analytics cookies / identifiers after opt-in
Purpose: Product analytics on PostHog Cloud after you accept Analytics consent.
Duration: Consent choice remembered for 12 months; analytics identifiers follow PostHog's retention while consent remains accepted.
Analytics consent
You can withdraw Analytics storage at any time. This stops product analytics without clearing sign-in, theme, or other Strictly necessary storage.

Marketing storage
King & Co does not use marketing or advertising first-party storage, advertising profiles, or advertising network pixels in this version of the product.
Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies or use similar technologies on their own domains. We link to each provider's policy below.
Used for Google Sign-In (OAuth) and optional Google Calendar integration. When you choose to sign in with Google or add an event to your Google Calendar, you are redirected to Google's own services, which are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Meta
Used for Facebook Login (OAuth). When you choose to sign in with Facebook Login, authentication is handled on Meta's own services, governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.
Paystack
Used to process donations. When you proceed to donation checkout, the payment is handled on Paystack's platform, governed by the Paystack Privacy Policy.
PostHog
Used for product analytics on PostHog Cloud only after you give Analytics consent. PostHog may set cookies or similar identifiers on its domain while consent remains accepted. See the PostHog Privacy Policy.
